With help comes the following published by Poczta Polska S.A. Regulations for the provision of Universal Services as of 2018, which in § 6 provides that:

3) The data identifying the sender and the addressee and their addresses placed on the mail shall be placed in the following order:

1) the name or full name of the sender/addressee,

2) street, house and flat numbers or premises – in the case of a locality divided into streets, or the name of the locality and the serial number of the property – in the case of a locality not divided into streets,

3) the appropriate postal code together with the name of the locality to which the mail is addressed.

(7) The name of the locality, provided in the sender’s/addressee’s address, should be given in the wording consistent with the official name of the locality.

It follows directly from the above that neither the name of the post office nor the locality of the post office (seat of the post office) is required in the address.

Instead, the obligatory elements of the address are the proper postal code and the name of the locality to which this postal code is assigned (the locality to which the mail is addressed).
